UBNetID is standard single login system (Single Sign On System – SSO) to access the entire IT services at UB. UBNetID provided by Bais (UB Authentication and Identification System) which manages the authentication, authorization and access all user identification UB IT services centrally.
You can activate UBNetID online at BAIS (http://bais.ub.ac.id). Use the activation code contained in the proof of registration receipt to activate your UBNetID.
Applicable standard rules for UserID are as follows:
- Students use NIM as the standard UserID (Student identification number).
- Faculty / staff use NIP as the default UserID (Employee identification number).
- Password is determined solely by each user with a minimum limit of 6 characters and a maximum of 8 characters.
For students class of 2004, 2005, 2006, etc. when activating UBNetID, you can also activate your Email account. You can create another name beside the standard userID as an alternative of your E-mail account. Please access Email service to get further information.
For students before 2004 class, you can still activate UBNetID but you can’t activate your E-Mail. To activate your Email please see the E-mail service section.
